About AIMAILABS

Started by solving one real problem.
Expanded into a platform thesis.

AIMAILABS Sdn. Bhd. is a founder-led technology company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We build governed AI infrastructure for operational decisions—not generic chatbots and not another isolated dashboard.

Origin

AIMAILABS was not planned as a speculative AI startup.

The company direction emerged after PETRONAS SKGAS leadership raised a real inspection workflow challenge. That led to Inspecta: a working application designed to help move field evidence through assessment, guideline application and human review.

Building Inspecta exposed a larger pattern. The difficult part was not simply detecting a defect or generating text. The real challenge was converting company knowledge, evidence requirements and approval rules into a controlled software workflow.

The platform insight

Inspecta became the first proof of a broader engine.

  • AI models structure operational evidence
  • Machine ontologies normalise what the evidence means
  • Compiled company rules govern the decision
  • Human authority remains attached to high-risk outcomes
  • Every step remains traceable and reviewable
Company stage

Validation achieved. Commercial repeatability still to prove.

We believe credibility comes from separating what is real today from what remains an ambition.

01

Real buyer-side problem

The first application originated from an actual industrial workflow need.

02

Working product

Inspecta progressed beyond concept stage and was exercised in an industrial context.

03

PETRONAS SKGAS workflow validation

Industrial evidence and assessment workflow were tested with human review.

04

PETRONAS iG@P Tech Catalogue

Inspecta achieved internal catalogue visibility under Digital Solutions.

05

OTC Asia 2026 publication

The technical methodology is published on OnePetro as paper OTC-36640-MS.

Proven

Technical and enterprise validation

Working software, a real operational origin, industrial workflow testing, catalogue listing and public technical documentation.

Not yet proven

Scaled commercial traction

Recurring revenue, signed long-term contracts, repeatable sales and multi-customer deployment remain the next milestones.

Current focus

Commercial conversion

Convert validation into controlled paid deployments and recurring platform relationships.

Long-term direction

Malaysian decision infrastructure

Build a reusable industrial AI platform that can expand from Sabah to national and regional markets.

PETRONAS, SKGAS and iG@P are referenced only to describe factual engagement, workflow validation and catalogue listing. No endorsement, partnership or procurement commitment is implied.
What we believe

Industrial AI must be useful before it is impressive.

01

Evidence before answers

Model output is a hypothesis until it is verified, normalised and allowed to influence the decision.

02

Rules before confidence

Company-approved knowledge governs eligibility, calculations, escalation and finalisation.

03

Human authority by design

High-risk operational decisions remain accountable to authorised people with a complete audit trail.

04

Platform before product sprawl

New workflows should reuse the same compiler, runtime and governance layer.

05

Commercial truth over vanity

Pilots and publications are validation—not substitutes for paying customers and renewals.

06

Built in Sabah

Local technical capability can solve globally relevant industrial problems when it is grounded in real operations.
